- تَنَزَّلُ tanazzalu Descend
- ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ l-malāikatu the Angels
- وَٱلرُّوحُ wal-rūḥu and the Spirit
- فِيهَا fīhā therein
- بِإِذۡنِ bi-idh'ni by (the) permission
- رَبِّهِم rabbihim (of) their Lord
- مِّن min for
- كُلِّ kulli every
- أَمۡرࣲ amrin affair
97:5

- سَلَٰمٌ salāmun Peace
- هِيَ hiya it (is)
- حَتَّىٰ ḥattā until
- مَطۡلَعِ maṭlaʿi (the) emergence
- ٱلۡفَجۡرِ l-fajri (of) the dawn
