Using the site
The lessons, duas and prayer guide are free for personal and family learning, and for teachers to use with their students. Parents create accounts for their children and are responsible for how children use them. Please do not misuse the site, copy it in bulk or try to break it.
A learning aid, checked with care
The English pronunciation is a reading aid only: learn the exact sounds by listening and, best of all, with a teacher. The duas, meanings and prayer guide are being checked by teachers. Small details differ between the schools of fiqh: follow what your teacher teaches. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.
The Qur'an text and recitation
The Qur'an text and its Uthmani (Madinah Mushaf) font come from the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex in Madinah (fonts.qurancomplex.gov.sa). The text is imported automatically from the Complex's file, checked against the fingerprint the Complex publishes, and never typed by hand. The font is used unchanged and free of charge under the Complex's licence. When a lesson or dua quotes part of an ayah, a joining shaddah at the very start may be left out so the quote reads on its own.
The recitation is by Muhammad Ayyub, from the recordings the Complex makes free for public use (qurancomplex.gov.sa).
Live classes
Live classes are taught by independent teachers. We help you find a teacher; the plan, times and fee are agreed with the teacher after the free trial class. A parent or guardian should be nearby during a child's class.
