Hifz: memorise the Qur'an

Start with Al-Faatiḥah, then learn Juz 'Amma starting from An-Naas and working backwards. A few ayahs a day, checked every time, and reviewed before you forget them.

  1. Listen Hear each ayah several times while you follow the words.
  2. Hide Hide some words, then more, until you can say the ayah with none showing.
  3. Recite Recite from memory. Each word appears only when you say it right; a wrong word is flagged straight away.
  4. Review Like in the madrasah: a new sabaq, daily sabqi for this week's ayahs, and manzil for older ones on a growing schedule.
