Kindness to animals
Allah forgave a man because he gave water to a thirsty dog.
The Prophet ﷺ told of a man who found a dog so thirsty it was licking the wet earth. He filled his shoe with water from a well and gave it to drink. Allah thanked him and forgave him. The Companions asked if there is reward for kindness to animals, and he said: “There is a reward for every living being.”
“There is a reward for (kindness to) every living being.”
