Backbiting is saying something about someone behind their back that they would not like.
Even if it is true, talking about someone's faults when they are not there hurts them and our own hearts. Allah compares it to something we would hate.
Do not backbite
Allah tells the believers to avoid suspicion, not to spy, and not to backbite one another.
