☝️ Aqeedah: what we believe · Step 4 of 9
Belief in the books
Allah sent books to guide people. The Qur'an is the last, and Allah protects it.
Books named in the Qur'an
| Book | Given to |
|---|---|
The Scrolls (Suhuf) | Ibrahim and Musa |
The Tawrah | Musa |
The Zabur | Dawud |
The Injil | 'Isa |
The Qur'an | Muhammad ﷺ |
Allah protects the Qur'an
Allah says He sent down the Reminder (the Qur'an) and He will guard it.
We believe all these books came from Allah. The earlier books were changed over time; the Qur'an is kept exactly as it was revealed, in millions of hearts and copies.
