92:1 ⚑
  1. وَٱلَّيۡلِ wa-al-layli By the night
  2. إِذَا idhā when
  3. يَغۡشَىٰ yaghshā it covers
92:2 ⚑
  1. وَٱلنَّهَارِ wal-nahāri And the day
  2. إِذَا idhā when
  3. تَجَلَّىٰ tajallā it shines in brightness
92:3 ⚑
  1. وَمَا wamā And He Who
  2. خَلَقَ khalaqa created
  3. ٱلذَّكَرَ l-dhakara the male
  4. وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰٓ wal-unthā and the female
92:4 ⚑
  1. إِنَّ inna Indeed
  2. سَعۡيَكُمۡ saʿyakum your efforts
  3. لَشَتَّىٰ lashattā (are) surely diverse
92:5 ⚑
  1. فَأَمَّا fa-ammā Then as for
  2. مَنۡ man (him) who
  3. أَعۡطَىٰ aʿṭā gives
  4. وَٱتَّقَىٰ wa-ittaqā and fears
92:6 ⚑
  1. وَصَدَّقَ waṣaddaqa And believes
  2. بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ bil-ḥus'nā in the best
92:7 ⚑
  1. فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ fasanuyassiruhu Then We will ease him
  2. لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ lil'yus'rā towards [the] ease
92:8 ⚑
  1. وَأَمَّا wa-ammā But as for
  2. مَنۢ man (him) who
  3. بَخِلَ bakhila withholds
  4. وَٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ wa-is'taghnā and considers himself free from need
92:9 ⚑
  1. وَكَذَّبَ wakadhaba And denies
  2. بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ bil-ḥus'nā the best
92:10 ⚑
  1. فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ fasanuyassiruhu Then We will ease him
  2. لِلۡعُسۡرَىٰ lil'ʿus'rā towards [the] difficulty
92:11 ⚑
  1. وَمَا wamā And not
  2. يُغۡنِي yugh'nī will avail
  3. عَنۡهُ ʿanhu him
  4. مَالُهُۥٓ māluhu his wealth
  5. إِذَا idhā when
  6. تَرَدَّىٰٓ taraddā he falls
92:12 ⚑
  1. إِنَّ inna Indeed
  2. عَلَيۡنَا ʿalaynā upon Us
  3. لَلۡهُدَىٰ lalhudā (is) the guidance
92:13 ⚑
  1. وَإِنَّ wa-inna And indeed
  2. لَنَا lanā for Us
  3. لَلۡأٓخِرَةَ lalākhirata (is) the Hereafter
  4. وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ wal-ūlā and the first (life)
92:14 ⚑
  1. فَأَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ fa-andhartukum So I warn you
  2. نَارࣰا nāran (of) a Fire
  3. تَلَظَّىٰ talaẓẓā blazing
92:15 ⚑
  1. لَا lā Not
  2. يَصۡلَىٰهَآ yaṣlāhā will burn (in) it
  3. إِلَّا illā except
  4. ٱلۡأَشۡقَى l-ashqā the most wretched
92:16 ⚑
  1. ٱلَّذِي alladhī The one who
  2. كَذَّبَ kadhaba denied
  3. وَتَوَلَّىٰ watawallā and turned away
92:17 ⚑
  1. وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا wasayujannabuhā But will be removed from it
  2. ٱلۡأَتۡقَى l-atqā the righteous
92:18 ⚑
  1. ٱلَّذِي alladhī The one who
  2. يُؤۡتِي yu'tī gives
  3. مَالَهُۥ mālahu his wealth
  4. يَتَزَكَّىٰ yatazakkā (to) purify himself
92:19 ⚑
  1. وَمَا wamā And not
  2. لِأَحَدٍ li-aḥadin for anyone
  3. عِندَهُۥ ʿindahu with him
  4. مِن min any
  5. نِّعۡمَةࣲ niʿ'matin favor
  6. تُجۡزَىٰٓ tuj'zā to be recompensed
92:20 ⚑
  1. إِلَّا illā Except
  2. ٱبۡتِغَآءَ ib'tighāa seeking
  3. وَجۡهِ wajhi (the) Countenance
  4. رَبِّهِ rabbihi (of) his Lord
  5. ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ l-aʿlā the Most High
92:21 ⚑
  1. وَلَسَوۡفَ walasawfa And soon, surely
  2. يَرۡضَىٰ yarḍā he will be pleased
