Ayat al-Kursi
al-laa-hu laa i-laa-ha il-laa hu-wal ḥay-yul qay-yoom, laa ta'-khu-dhu-hoo si-na-tuw wa laa nawm, la-hoo maa fis sa-maa-waa-ti wa maa fil arḍ, man dhal la-dhee yash-fa-'u 'in-da-hoo il-laa bi-idh-nih, ya'-la-mu maa bay-na ay-dee-him wa maa khal-fa-hum, wa laa yu-ḥee-ṭoo-na bi-shay-'im min 'il-mi-hee il-laa bi-maa shaa', wa-si-'a kur-siy-yu-hus sa-maa-waa-ti wal arḍ, wa laa ya-'oo-du-hoo ḥif-ẓu-hu-maa, wa hu-wal 'a-liy-yul 'a-ẓeem
“Allah: there is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they grasp nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and guarding them does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.”
Whoever recites it after every prayer, only death stands between him and Paradise (an-Nasa'i, as-Sunan al-Kubra 9928).
