The Hijrah to Madinah

The Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr left Makkah secretly, hid in the cave of Thawr, and reached Madinah.

When the leaders of Makkah planned to kill the Prophet ﷺ, Allah allowed him to leave. He set out at night with Abu Bakr, while 'Ali slept in his bed. They hid for three days in the cave of Thawr. The enemies came right to the mouth of the cave.

Abu Bakr said: “If one of them looked down at his feet, he would see us.” The Prophet ﷺ said: “What do you think of two when Allah is their third?”

Do not grieve, Allah is with us
