An-Naazi'aat النَّازِعَاتِ

79:1 ▶ ⚑

1. وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ wal-nāziʿāti By those who extract
2. غَرۡقࣰا gharqan violently

79:2 ▶ ⚑

1. وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِ wal-nāshiṭāti And those who draw out
2. نَشۡطࣰا nashṭan gently

79:3 ▶ ⚑

1. وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ wal-sābiḥāti And those who glide
2. سَبۡحࣰا sabḥan swimming

79:4 ▶ ⚑

1. فَٱلسَّٰبِقَٰتِ fal-sābiqāti And those who race each other
2. سَبۡقࣰا sabqan (in) a race

79:5 ▶ ⚑

1. فَٱلۡمُدَبِّرَٰتِ fal-mudabirāti And those who arrange
2. أَمۡرࣰا amran (the) matter

79:6 ▶ ⚑

1. يَوۡمَ yawma (The) Day
2. تَرۡجُفُ tarjufu will quake
3. ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ l-rājifatu the quaking one

79:7 ▶ ⚑

1. تَتۡبَعُهَا tatbaʿuhā Follows it
2. ٱلرَّادِفَةُ l-rādifatu the subsequent

79:8 ▶ ⚑

1. قُلُوبࣱ qulūbun Hearts
2. يَوۡمَئِذࣲ yawma-idhin that Day
3. وَاجِفَةٌ wājifatun will palpitate

79:9 ▶ ⚑

1. أَبۡصَٰرُهَا abṣāruhā Their eyes
2. خَٰشِعَةࣱ khāshiʿatun humbled

79:10 ▶ ⚑

1. يَقُولُونَ yaqūlūna They say
2. أَءِنَّا a-innā Will we
3. لَمَرۡدُودُونَ lamardūdūna indeed be returned
4. فِي fī to
5. ٱلۡحَافِرَةِ l-ḥāfirati the former state

79:11 ▶ ⚑

1. أَءِذَا a-idhā What! When
2. كُنَّا kunnā we are
3. عِظَٰمࣰا ʿiẓāman bones
4. نَّخِرَةࣰ nakhiratan decayed

79:12 ▶ ⚑

1. قَالُواْ qālū They say
2. تِلۡكَ til'ka This
3. إِذࣰا idhan then
4. كَرَّةٌ karratun (would be) a return
5. خَاسِرَةࣱ khāsiratun losing

79:13 ▶ ⚑

1. فَإِنَّمَا fa-innamā Then only
2. هِيَ hiya it
3. زَجۡرَةࣱ zajratun (will be) a shout
4. وَٰحِدَةࣱ wāḥidatun single

79:14 ▶ ⚑

1. فَإِذَا fa-idhā And behold
2. هُم hum They
3. بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ bil-sāhirati (will be) awakened

79:15 ▶ ⚑

1. هَلۡ hal Has
2. أَتَىٰكَ atāka (there) come to you
3. حَدِيثُ ḥadīthu (the) story
4. مُوسَىٰٓ mūsā (of) Musa

79:16 ▶ ⚑

1. إِذۡ idh When
2. نَادَىٰهُ nādāhu called him
3. رَبُّهُۥ rabbuhu his Lord
4. بِٱلۡوَادِ bil-wādi in the valley
5. ٱلۡمُقَدَّسِ l-muqadasi the sacred
6. طُوًى ṭuwan (of) Tuwa

79:17 ▶ ⚑

1. ٱذۡهَبۡ idh'hab Go
2. إِلَىٰ ilā to
3. فِرۡعَوۡنَ fir'ʿawna Firaun
4. إِنَّهُۥ innahu Indeed, he
5. طَغَىٰ ṭaghā (has) transgressed

79:18 ▶ ⚑

1. فَقُلۡ faqul And say
2. هَل hal Would
3. لَّكَ laka [for] you
4. إِلَىٰٓ ilā [to]
5. أَن an [that]
6. تَزَكَّىٰ tazakkā purify yourself

79:19 ▶ ⚑

1. وَأَهۡدِيَكَ wa-ahdiyaka And I will guide you
2. إِلَىٰ ilā to
3. رَبِّكَ rabbika your Lord
4. فَتَخۡشَىٰ fatakhshā so you would fear

79:20 ▶ ⚑

1. فَأَرَىٰهُ fa-arāhu Then he showed him
2. ٱلۡأٓيَةَ l-āyata the sign
3. ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ l-kub'rā the great

79:21 ▶ ⚑

1. فَكَذَّبَ fakadhaba But he denied
2. وَعَصَىٰ waʿaṣā and disobeyed

79:22 ▶ ⚑

1. ثُمَّ thumma Then
2. أَدۡبَرَ adbara he turned his back
3. يَسۡعَىٰ yasʿā striving

79:23 ▶ ⚑

1. فَحَشَرَ faḥashara And he gathered
2. فَنَادَىٰ fanādā and called out

79:24 ▶ ⚑

1. فَقَالَ faqāla Then he said
2. أَنَا۠ anā I am
3. رَبُّكُمُ rabbukumu your Lord
4. ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ l-aʿlā the Most High

79:25 ▶ ⚑

1. فَأَخَذَهُ fa-akhadhahu So seized him
2. ٱللَّهُ l-lahu Allah
3. نَكَالَ nakāla (with) an exemplary punishment
4. ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ l-ākhirati (for) the last
5. وَٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ wal-ūlā and the first

79:26 ▶ ⚑

1. إِنَّ inna Indeed
2. فِي fī in
3. ذَٰلِكَ dhālika that
4. لَعِبۡرَةࣰ laʿib'ratan surely (is) a lesson
5. لِّمَن liman for whoever
6. يَخۡشَىٰٓ yakhshā fears

79:27 ▶ ⚑

1. ءَأَنتُمۡ a-antum Are you
2. أَشَدُّ ashaddu a more difficult
3. خَلۡقًا khalqan creation
4. أَمِ ami or
5. ٱلسَّمَآءُۚ l-samāu the heaven
6. بَنَىٰهَا banāhā He constructed it

79:28 ▶ ⚑

1. رَفَعَ rafaʿa He raised
2. سَمۡكَهَا samkahā its ceiling
3. فَسَوَّىٰهَا fasawwāhā and proportioned it

79:29 ▶ ⚑

1. وَأَغۡطَشَ wa-aghṭasha And He darkened
2. لَيۡلَهَا laylahā its night
3. وَأَخۡرَجَ wa-akhraja and brought out
4. ضُحَىٰهَا ḍuḥāhā its brightness

79:30 ▶ ⚑

1. وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ wal-arḍa And the earth
2. بَعۡدَ baʿda after
3. ذَٰلِكَ dhālika that
4. دَحَىٰهَآ daḥāhā He spread it

79:31 ▶ ⚑

1. أَخۡرَجَ akhraja He brought forth
2. مِنۡهَا min'hā from it
3. مَآءَهَا māahā its water
4. وَمَرۡعَىٰهَا wamarʿāhā and its pasture

79:32 ▶ ⚑

1. وَٱلۡجِبَالَ wal-jibāla And the mountains
2. أَرۡسَىٰهَا arsāhā He made them firm

79:33 ▶ ⚑

1. مَتَٰعࣰا matāʿan (As) a provision
2. لَّكُمۡ lakum for you
3. وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ wali-anʿāmikum and for your cattle

79:34 ▶ ⚑

1. فَإِذَا fa-idhā But when
2. جَآءَتِ jāati comes
3. ٱلطَّآمَّةُ l-ṭāmatu the Overwhelming Calamity
4. ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ l-kub'rā the great

79:35 ▶ ⚑

1. يَوۡمَ yawma (The) Day
2. يَتَذَكَّرُ yatadhakkaru will remember
3. ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ l-insānu man
4. مَا mā what
5. سَعَىٰ saʿā he strove (for)

79:36 ▶ ⚑

1. وَبُرِّزَتِ waburrizati And will be made manifest
2. ٱلۡجَحِيمُ l-jaḥīmu the Hellfire
3. لِمَن liman to (him) who
4. يَرَىٰ yarā sees

79:37 ▶ ⚑

1. فَأَمَّا fa-ammā Then as for
2. مَن man (him) who
3. طَغَىٰ ṭaghā transgressed

79:38 ▶ ⚑

1. وَءَاثَرَ waāthara And preferred
2. ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ l-ḥayata the life
3. ٱلدُّنۡيَا l-dun'yā (of) the world

79:39 ▶ ⚑

1. فَإِنَّ fa-inna Then indeed
2. ٱلۡجَحِيمَ l-jaḥīma the Hellfire
3. هِيَ hiya it
4. ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ l-mawā (is) the refuge

79:40 ▶ ⚑

1. وَأَمَّا wa-ammā But as for
2. مَنۡ man (him) who
3. خَافَ khāfa feared
4. مَقَامَ maqāma standing
5. رَبِّهِۦ rabbihi (before) his Lord
6. وَنَهَى wanahā and restrained
7. ٱلنَّفۡسَ l-nafsa his soul
8. عَنِ ʿani from
9. ٱلۡهَوَىٰ l-hawā the vain desires

79:41 ▶ ⚑

1. فَإِنَّ fa-inna Then indeed
2. ٱلۡجَنَّةَ l-janata Paradise
3. هِيَ hiya it (is)
4. ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ l-mawā the refuge

79:42 ▶ ⚑

1. يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ yasalūnaka They ask you
2. عَنِ ʿani about
3. ٱلسَّاعَةِ l-sāʿati the Hour
4. أَيَّانَ ayyāna when
5. مُرۡسَىٰهَا mur'sāhā (is) its arrival

79:43 ▶ ⚑

1. فِيمَ fīma In what
2. أَنتَ anta (are) you
3. مِن min [of]
4. ذِكۡرَىٰهَآ dhik'rāhā (to) mention it

79:44 ▶ ⚑

1. إِلَىٰ ilā To
2. رَبِّكَ rabbika your Lord
3. مُنتَهَىٰهَآ muntahāhā (is) its finality

79:45 ▶ ⚑

1. إِنَّمَآ innamā Only
2. أَنتَ anta you
3. مُنذِرُ mundhiru (are) a warner
4. مَن man (for him) who
5. يَخۡشَىٰهَا yakhshāhā fears it

79:46 ▶ ⚑

1. كَأَنَّهُمۡ ka-annahum As though they
2. يَوۡمَ yawma (the) Day
3. يَرَوۡنَهَا yarawnahā they see it
4. لَمۡ lam not
5. يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ yalbathū they had remained
6. إِلَّا illā except
7. عَشِيَّةً ʿashiyyatan an evening
8. أَوۡ aw or
9. ضُحَىٰهَا ḍuḥāhā a morning thereof
