87:1 ⚑
  1. سَبِّحِ sabbiḥi Glorify
  2. ٱسۡمَ is'ma (the) name
  3. رَبِّكَ rabbika (of) your Lord
  4. ٱلۡأَعۡلَى l-aʿlā the Most High
87:2 ⚑
  1. ٱلَّذِي alladhī The One Who
  2. خَلَقَ khalaqa created
  3. فَسَوَّىٰ fasawwā then proportioned
87:3 ⚑
  1. وَٱلَّذِي wa-alladhī And the One Who
  2. قَدَّرَ qaddara measured
  3. فَهَدَىٰ fahadā then guided
87:4 ⚑
  1. وَٱلَّذِيٓ wa-alladhī And the One Who
  2. أَخۡرَجَ akhraja brings forth
  3. ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ l-marʿā the pasture
87:5 ⚑
  1. فَجَعَلَهُۥ fajaʿalahu And then makes it
  2. غُثَآءً ghuthāan stubble
  3. أَحۡوَىٰ aḥwā dark
87:6 ⚑
  1. سَنُقۡرِئُكَ sanuq'ri-uka We will make you recite
  2. فَلَا falā so not
  3. تَنسَىٰٓ tansā you will forget
87:7 ⚑
  1. إِلَّا illā Except
  2. مَا mā what
  3. شَآءَ shāa wills
  4. ٱللَّهُۚ l-lahu Allah
  5. إِنَّهُۥ innahu Indeed, He
  6. يَعۡلَمُ yaʿlamu knows
  7. ٱلۡجَهۡرَ l-jahra the manifest
  8. وَمَا wamā and what
  9. يَخۡفَىٰ yakhfā is hidden
87:8 ⚑
  1. وَنُيَسِّرُكَ wanuyassiruka And We will ease you
  2. لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ lil'yus'rā to the ease
87:9 ⚑
  1. فَذَكِّرۡ fadhakkir So remind
  2. إِن in if
  3. نَّفَعَتِ nafaʿati benefits
  4. ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ l-dhik'rā the reminder
87:10 ⚑
  1. سَيَذَّكَّرُ sayadhakkaru He will pay heed
  2. مَن man (one) who
  3. يَخۡشَىٰ yakhshā fears (Allah)
87:11 ⚑
  1. وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا wayatajannabuhā And will avoid it
  2. ٱلۡأَشۡقَى l-ashqā the wretched one
87:12 ⚑
  1. ٱلَّذِي alladhī The one who
  2. يَصۡلَى yaṣlā will burn
  3. ٱلنَّارَ l-nāra (in) the Fire
  4. ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ l-kub'rā [the] great
87:13 ⚑
  1. ثُمَّ thumma Then
  2. لَا lā not
  3. يَمُوتُ yamūtu he will die
  4. فِيهَا fīhā therein
  5. وَلَا walā and not
  6. يَحۡيَىٰ yaḥyā will live
87:14 ⚑
  1. قَدۡ qad Certainly
  2. أَفۡلَحَ aflaḥa has succeeded
  3. مَن man (one) who
  4. تَزَكَّىٰ tazakkā purifies (himself)
87:15 ⚑
  1. وَذَكَرَ wadhakara And remembers
  2. ٱسۡمَ is'ma (the) name
  3. رَبِّهِۦ rabbihi (of) his Lord
  4. فَصَلَّىٰ faṣallā and prays
87:16 ⚑
  1. بَلۡ bal Nay
  2. تُؤۡثِرُونَ tu'thirūna You prefer
  3. ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ l-ḥayata the life
  4. ٱلدُّنۡيَا l-dun'yā (of) the world
87:17 ⚑
  1. وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ wal-ākhiratu While the Hereafter
  2. خَيۡرࣱ khayrun (is) better
  3. وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ wa-abqā and everlasting
87:18 ⚑
  1. إِنَّ inna Indeed
  2. هَٰذَا hādhā this
  3. لَفِي lafī surely (is) in
  4. ٱلصُّحُفِ l-ṣuḥufi the Scriptures
  5. ٱلۡأُولَىٰ l-ūlā [the] former
87:19 ⚑
  1. صُحُفِ ṣuḥufi (The) Scriptures
  2. إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ib'rāhīma (of) Ibrahim
  3. وَمُوسَىٰ wamūsā and Musa
